Dhanashree Verma warns fans over impostor targeting friends and family: "Do not engage with any suspicious messages..."

Dhanashree Verma has alerted fans on social media about an impostor trying to contact her friends, family, and colleagues. She advised everyone to remain cautious and ignore any “suspicious messages, emails, or calls” claiming to be from her.

Dhanashree Verma recently issued a warning on social media about a fraudster who has been reaching out to her friends, family, and colleagues. She urged everyone to stay cautious and avoid responding to any “suspicious messages, emails, or calls” made in her name.

Taking to her Instagram Story on August 23, Dhanashree wrote, “Important Alert. Someone is impersonating me and trying to contact my friends, family, and colleagues. Please do not engage with any suspicious messages, emails, or calls claiming to be from me."

She continued, "I'm not sure what their intentions are, but I want to keep everyone safe and informed. I am sharing a screenshot of the phone number in the next story. Please stay cautious and report if contacted. Thank you!”

Dhanashree was earlier married to cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. They couple got divorced on February 20, 2025.

Dhanashree Verma recently talked candidly about the challenging time she went through after splitting from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal in an interview with Humans of Bombay. She disclosed that although her parents struggled to deal with the situation at first, they eventually supported her and respected her bravery in making the choice.

"There were days when my mother would actually give up and feel sad, and there were times when my parents kept their phones away. It was so overwhelming and not required because already parents feel so much pressure from society. And then when they have to deal with something like this, how do they fix that? There were days I had to strictly tell them Don’t use your phones, stop answering calls," she added.
