Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle has stormed the Indian box office. The anime blockbuster continues its stellar run after dominating the Japanese box office earlier this year.

Haruo Sotozaki's anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle officially released in Indian theatres, two months after the film created a buzz at the Japanese box office. The film has received positive reviews and is enjoying a decent collection.

According to a trade website, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle earned Rs 13.92 Cr net in India on Saturday. The animated dark fantasy action movie’s total now stands at Rs 26.92 crore net in India. The film is expected to cross the Rs 30 crore milestone soon in just three days.

However, the film is expected to collect nearly Rs 40 crore during its opening weekend. The early estimation has suggested that the film has already added Rs 5.69 crore net, taking the total to Rs 32.61 net in India till Sunday morning.

The Japanese film was released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in India, with the audience responding enthusiastically to the animated dark fantasy action film.

Demon Slayer: Yaiba no Kimetsu is the first feature film in the three-part cinematic trilogy, Infinity Castle, which is based on the last battle of the anime shonen series produced by the animation studio Ufotable.

Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was murdered by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps at the start of the story in order to transform his younger sister, Nezuko, back into a human after she has been changed into a demon. In the most recent film, which was directed by Haruo Sotozaki, Tanjiro, Giyu, and the demon Akaza engage in combat.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle has emerged as the fourth-highest-grossing Japanese film worldwide and the highest-grossing film of 2025 in Japan, and is now set to break records in the Indian theatres.
