Japanese animated dark fantasy action film Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is creating a buzz among the fans. The film hit the theatres today, and the advance booking of the film has already broken all the records. The film is speculated to be one of the biggest opening weekends for a non-Indian film this year in India.
According to a trade website, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has sold tickets worth over Rs 10 crores gross on September 12. The craze of the film does not seem to calm down and is expected to earn Rs 15 crores gross in India.
According to the report, the movie has already sold over half a million tickets on the ticketing website. The anticipation for the movie has already caused the box office to soar before its premiere. Over 3.5 lakh tickets have already been sold on the ticketing website.
Additionally, the film has also created a record with a 5 AM show, becoming the first-ever anime film to release with 5 am shows in India.
The film will be released by Sony Pictures Entertainment, in collaboration with Crunchyroll, in India. The widest release ever for an anime film in India will premiere on over 750 screens nationwide across all formats. The latest instalment in the Demon Slayer franchise will be released in the theatres in five languages in India: Japanese [with English subtitles], English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is based on the Infinity Castle arc of the 2016–20 manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge.
The action anime follows the Demon Slayer Corps, who are drawn into the Infinity Castle, where Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the Hashira face terrifying Upper Rank demons in a desperate fight as the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji begins.
