The update comes months after Deepika introduced the OnSet Program on her birthday as part of her broader Create With Me platform. The initiative was launched to empower aspiring talent and provide structured entry points into the film, television and advertising industries.

Through the programme, selected participants will receive hands-on experience on professional sets, allowing them to learn the practical aspects of filmmaking. The initiative offers exposure across multiple departments, including writing, direction, camera operations, lighting, editing, sound design, art direction, costume design, hair styling, make-up artistry, and production.

Deepika previously shared that the idea behind the programme grew from the overwhelming response to her earlier initiative, Create With Deepika Padukone: Pitch Format, where creators were invited to submit original storytelling concepts. Encouraged by the enthusiasm from aspiring storytellers, she decided to expand the platform into a more immersive, on-ground training experience.

The OnSet Program aims not only to offer learning opportunities but also to act as a launchpad for promising talent, enabling participants to gain real-world industry exposure and collaborate with experienced professionals. Some participants may even get the chance to lead their own projects in the future.
