Deepika Padukone serves effortless style at the airport, heads to global LV event

Deepika Padukone has once again proved that why she’s a true style icon as she made a late-night appearance at the airport, turning heads with her understated yet chic look.

The Happy New Year actress was dressed in a cosy red sweater paired with blue jeans folded neatly at the cuffs, she completed her look with brown boots, a smart handbag, and her signature oversized sunglasses. With her hair tied back in a sleek bun, the actress looked elegant as always, even at midnight.

As soon as she was spotted, rumours began swirling that she was heading out for a film shoot. However, her team quickly put the speculation to rest with an official statement, clarifying, "Deepika Padukone has left for a Global event of LV abroad, and not any shoot (as being reported)."

While Deepika is currently away for the international event, preparations continue back in Mumbai for her next big film. According to a mid-day report, Allu Arjun returned to the city on September 1 to resume filming for Atlee’s ambitious sci-fi project, which is currently using the working title AA22xA6. On Monday, the actor was back in action, shooting at Chitrakoot Grounds in Andheri to keep the 30-day schedule on track.

Deepika, however, will only begin filming for the project in November. Her role in the film is said to involve high-octane action sequences shot across multiple locations in India and abroad. The source revealed, “Her portions, which will be action-centric, will be shot across India and overseas.”

The current leg of the shoot is focused on heavy-duty action and emotionally intense scenes, with large sets built to bring Atlee’s vision to life. International stunt experts have been roped in to coordinate the complex sequences.

The production is moving on a tight timeline to avoid delays. As the source added, “International stunt coordinators are supervising the sequences and large-scale sets have been built for the same. Pushing things by even a few days would have led to additional costs.”

Alongside Deepika and Allu Arjun, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur, making it one of the most anticipated projects currently in the works.
