Daaku Maharaaj starring Nandamuri Balakrishna to stream on Netflix from THIS date

The highly successful film Daaku Maharaaj, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela is finally set to make its OTT debut on Netflix, as announced by the streaming giant.

Netflix took to Instagram on Sunday and shared a poster of the film Daaku maharaj featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol and others along with the announcement that it will begin streaming on the platform from February 21,2025.

Daaku Maharaaj presents a gripping saga of an ordinary man who, after a series of life-altering events, transforms into a feared dacoit. Set against the rugged terrains of Chambal, the film explores themes of power, revenge, and redemption. Balakrishna’s compelling portrayal of the titular character has garnered widespread acclaim, significantly contributing to the film’s box office success.

The story unfolds in 1996, following Krishnamurthy, a respected philanthropist who leads a peaceful life with his granddaughter Vaishnavi in the tranquil Araku Valley. When he exposes an illegal wildlife trade on his tea estate, he finds himself at odds with the influential MLA Trimurthulu and his ruthless brother Manohar. Meanwhile, dacoit leader Sitaram, infamously known as Daaku Maharaaj, escapes from prison and assumes the role of a driver to secretly protect Vaishnavi, setting the stage for an intense confrontation.
