Sudheer Babu’s pan-India film Jatadhara has officially begun filming. The shoot commenced on Saturday with a grand muhurtham ceremony, attended by renowned film personalities such as Harish Shankar, Venky Atluri, Mohana Krishna Indraganti, and Shilpa Shirodkar.
The muhurat ceremony for Jatadhara, Sudheer Babu’s upcoming pan-India film, took place at a temple in Hyderabad on Saturday. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm, marking the film’s official launch.
Esteemed guests, including director Harish Shankar, Pushpa 2: The Rule producer Ravi Shankar, directors Venky Atluri and Mohana Krishna Indraganti, along with actress Shilpa Shirodkar, gave the ceremonial first clap, signifying an auspicious beginning for the project.
Sudheer Babu shared glimpses from the Muhurat ceremony on Instagram along with the caption, "With divine blessings, we begin the journey of #Jatadhara!! Grateful for the love, support, and energy of this incredible team."
Touted as an action-packed mystery thriller, Jatadhara is set to unravel the enigma of the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, delving into the myths and legends surrounding its mystical powers. Sudheer Babu has reportedly undergone rigorous physical training to prepare for his role in the film.
However, Further details about the primary cast are yet to be officially revealed.
Directed by Venkat Kalyan, who previously worked as a co-director on the 2023 film Raakshasa Kaavyam, Jatadhara is being produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna V Arora, Shivin Narang, and Nikhil Nanda.
Sudheer Babu's most recent appearance was in Maa Nanna Superhero, which was released last year.
