The highly successful film Daaku Maharaaj, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela, which recently crossed the Rs 125 crore mark at the box office, is now gearing up for its OTT debut. Fans can soon enjoy this gripping thriller from the comfort of their homes, as it makes its way to a streaming platform soon.
Since its release on January 12, 2025, during the Pongal and Sankranti festivals, the film has been performing strongly at the box office. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the movie has garnered positive reviews for its compelling storyline and strong performances by the cast.
For fans eagerly awaiting its digital release, buzz on social media hints that the film will be available for streaming on Netflix starting February 9, 2025.
Daaku Maharaaj tells the gripping tale of an ordinary man who is forced to become a notorious dacoit after a series of life-altering events. Set against the rugged backdrop of the Chambal region, the film delves into themes of power, revenge, and redemption. Balakrishna's portrayal of the central character has earned widespread acclaim, adding to the film's success at the box office.
The film will be available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam. However, there has been no official word on a Hindi dubbed version as of now.

In 1996, Krishnamurthy, a well-respected philanthropist, leads a peaceful life with his granddaughter Vaishnavi in the serene Araku Valley. When he exposes an illegal wildlife trade on his tea estate, powerful MLA Trimurthulu and his brother Manohar threaten the family. In a twist of fate, dacoit leader Sitaram, also known as Daaku Maharaaj, escapes from prison and takes on a job as a driver to safeguard Vaishnavi.
Meanwhile, Trimurthulu and Manohar are secretly involved in a cocaine cultivation operation. When Bablu Singh, connected to the trade, attacks the family, Maharaaj steps in to defend them but sustains injuries in the process.
The film boasts a stellar cast led by Bobby Deol, with Balakrishna, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath playing key roles.
