A 21-year-old man from Zhejiang, China, named Jiang has spent over a year working hard to make a dream come true. After taking over his family’s sheep farm, he dedicated himself to securing the exclusive licensing rights for Crayon Shin-chan in China. This took him five trips to Shanghai to complete. His love for the popular anime character, Shinchan, inspired him to recreate the character’s iconic home from the show.
Crayon Shin-chan is a beloved Japanese anime that has been entertaining fans for 32 years. The show, known for its family-friendly humor, follows the adventures of a mischievous boy named Shinnosuke Nohara, or Shinchan.
One of the most memorable parts of the show is his house, a red and white brick building that has captured the hearts of fans worldwide.
In July 2024, Jiang started building an exact replica of this house on his family farm. The construction process was not easy, as Jiang needed to use special materials to match the look of the house in the anime.

This raised the cost of the project, which eventually reached ₹3.5 crore (about $400,000).
Jiang's mother helped support him financially to make his dream a reality. The house covers around 100 square meters and is almost finished. Once complete, it will be open to fans, particularly for photography and cosplay, allowing visitors to step into the world of Shinchan.
But Jiang's dream does not stop at this house. He wants to go even further. His next goal is to build a replica of Futaba Kindergarten from the show and turn it into a real educational facility. His ultimate dream is to recreate the entire Kasukabe Town from Crayon Shin-chan in real life. He imagines a place where fans can fully immerse themselves in the world of Shinchan, experiencing the show as if it were reality.
In addition to the house, Jiang has also remodeled an old car to resemble the green vehicle seen in the anime. This is just another example of his deep love and commitment to the Crayon Shin-chan series, which has been loved by millions since it first appeared as a comic in 1990. Even after the death of its creator Yoshito Usui in 2009, the series continues to bring joy to fans through its unique humor and memorable characters.
