South Korean boy band BTS member Jungkook is currently serving his mandatory military service. However, the singer continues to dominate global charts and create new records with his debut solo album, Golden.
Jungkook dropped the album in November 2023, however, the album has recently achieved a major milestone and became the most-streamed album by an Asian male artist on Spotify in 2025. The album has notably garnered an impressive 517 million streams.
The official X account of the World Music Awards announced the news and wrote, “#JUNGKOOK's 'Golden' is now the most streamed album by an Asian Male Act on Spotify in 2025 with over 517 Million streams so far, despite being released in 2023!”
BTS ARMY were left excited over Jungkook’s latest achievement and celebrated the recent success.
Meanwhile, Jungkook’s Golden received both critical praise and commercial success for its flawless blend of pop, R&B, and EDM styles. The album was released under Big Hit Music and features 11 tracks, including hits like Seven, Standing Next to You, 3D, among others.
Additionally, Jungkook’s album was also praised for its international collaborations. The K-pop artist collaborated with some of the global music icons, including American rapper Jack Harlow, Grammy-winning artist Latto, the renowned electronic music trio Major Lazer, and DJ Snake.

The single track Seven, featuring Latto, was a highlight from Jungkook’s solo album Golden. It debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and became a global hit, topping charts and streaming platforms.
