K-pop singer J-Hope teased BTS reunion

BTS rapper J-Hope recently opened up about the group’s future during an interview on Apple Music 1's The Zane Lowe Show. With RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook set to be discharged from the military this June, the group’s long-awaited reunion is finally on the horizon.

During the interview, J-Hope spoke about the evolution of BTS over the years and how each member’s solo work has shaped them individually. “I think that over time, we each refined our unique identities as each of us works on their own music, come out with their solo projects and do their own thing,” he shared.

He also expressed curiosity and excitement about how those individual styles will blend again once BTS returns as a group.

“The funny thing for me is when our identities, which have taken shape in various ways, come together as BTS, I’m curious to see what it'll look like. I look forward to June, when our members will have completed their service. We will quickly get together and talk about what BTS can do in the future. I think it's going to be a massive energy.”

Since debuting in 2013 with 2 Cool 4 Skool, BTS has delivered one global hit after another, including albums like Dark & Wild, Wings, Love Yourself: Tear, and Map of the Soul: 7. They’re known for viral tracks such as Dynamite, Life Goes On, Butter, and My Universe, among many others.

J-Hope and Jin were the first two members to complete their military service, with the remaining five expected to finish in June 2025.

J-Hope is currently on his solo Hope on the Stage tour, which began on February 28 in Seoul with three back-to-back shows at the KSPO Dome. He has since performed in Brooklyn and is set to visit several cities, including Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, Los Angeles, Manila, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.

The tour is expected to conclude in June, aligning perfectly with the timing of BTS’s military completion, raising hopes for a full-group comeback shortly thereafter.
