As reported by Daily Mail, David and Victoria Beckham believe their eldest son is “held hostage” by their daughter-in-law Nicole. A source informed the publication, “Brooklyn is now being referred to as ‘the hostage.’ He is in a situation where those who love Brooklyn fear that he is being controlled by Nicola and it is heartbreaking."
The surprising report surfaced shortly after Brooklyn posted an unusual video of himself riding a motorcycle with Nicola. His caption read, "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby."
An insider claimed Brooklyn Beckham likely felt uncomfortable with the emotional video he shared, as it's not his usual style. They speculated that his wife Nicola Peltz might have been the one behind it.
“Videos like this are just not what he does. He will be dying inside. He’s soppy and he’s a romantic, but that video just isn’t him. He hates all of that stuff so you have to wonder if Nicola was behind it." the source further added.
For months, rumours of a split have been in the news, particularly after Brooklyn and Nicola were conspicuously missing from all of David Beckham's 50th birthday celebrations.
Brooklyn is the eldest son of former footballer David Beckham and his wife and former model Victoria Beckham's eldest son. The couple's other children include two sons, Romeo James and Cruz David, and a daughter, Harper Seven.
