Urfi Javed makes international red-carpet debut at London’s Pink Ball alongside Naomi Campbell and Idris Elba

Urfi Javed has recently made her international red-carpet debut at the prestigious Pink Ball at the British Museum in London. The British Museum hosted a fundraising inaugural Ball, which was co-chaired by Isha Ambani and other art patrons on the line of New York's fabled Met Gala.

Social media influencer and TV actress Urfi was seen alongside renowned global celebrities and stalwarts, including supermodel Naomi Campbell, actor Idris Elba, former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, famous fashion designer Miuccia Prada, and arts patron and chairperson of Qatar Museums, Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani. The Indians on the committee were industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla, actor Sonam Kapoor and designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The Indian television actor stated, “I’m immensely honoured to be a part of The Pink Ball at the British Museum - to join some of the incredible artists, designers, collectors and cultural figures from around the world. And I’m overjoyed to wear this stunning creation by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The deep colours and intricate details blend Indian heritage and craftsmanship just perfectly. It's a celebration of its own!”

Expressing happiness about gracing The Pink Ball, Urfi added, “I hail from Lucknow, and I want to remind every girl not to give up on your dreams, irrespective of the place you come from. It’s not just me who went to the British Museum; it was everyone who stood strong with me during my highs and lows - this moment is for all of us. The world will take notice of you and appreciate you if you keep trying."

Urfi, known for her fashion statements, arrived in a gorgeous design by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla that showcased feminine grandeur. Her outfit included a deconstructed jacket made of zardozi fabric, which was rich in luxurious detail and skilled craftsmanship. Every step was made more lively by the enormous gold beaded tassels that shimmered. Its deconstructed silhouette balanced tradition and cutting-edge design by giving the traditional zardozi embroidery a contemporary twist. She attracted attention for the right reasons by wearing it with a billowing pink over-the-top skirt.
