The film has received a U/A 13+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The board has given clearance with a few changes to the film.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the board has suggested two major changes to the film before giving the clearance. The board asked the markers to mute the word ‘guard.’ The word was reportedly used in a scene where Varun Dhawan’s character attempts to disguise a slur.
However, the board had also asked the makers to reduce the kissing scene by around 60 per cent. The board cleared the film only after the two recommended changes.
Additionally, the censor certificate lists the runtime at 135 minutes and 45 seconds, or 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 45 seconds.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film stars Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma in the key roles.
The upcoming film is performing well at the advance booking. The film has sold approximately 9,200 tickets across major national chains by Monday.
The upcoming romance drama follows two former lovers in Delhi who try to rekindle old flames, leading to amusing mix-ups and deceptions. As chaos unfolds, a new, unexpected romance blooms.
