Throughout 2025, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been in the news a lot—not because of a new movie or a red carpet event, but because of the ongoing rumours about their romance.

The couple has been in the news more than ever before, with fans speculating about their public appearances and rumours of a potential divorce. However, it appears that love still reigns supreme in their home based on their recent Karwa Chauth celebration.

Sunita posted a glimpse of her celebration on Instagram on the special day, and it was incredibly touching. She looked stunning in her traditional attire, complete with sindoor, bangles, and her trademark smile.

However, the gorgeous waist-length necklace she proudly displayed—a gift from Govinda—was what really grabbed everyone's attention.

Earlier this year, after the rumour mill churned out yet another round of speculation, Sunita had addressed the talk head-on.

In a candid statement to Shirdi Today, she said, “Nobody can separate us. I have a lot of fun with him. There are people who want to break homes more than outsiders. I won’t let anyone break homes. I will win because Baba [Shirdi Sai Baba] is with me.”

Recently, Sunita also discussed the impact the divorce rumours had on her.

Sambhavna Seth, an actress and model, recently made an appearance on Sunita Ahuja's most recent vlog.

Sunita admitted in the episode that she was upset to hear the rumours of Govinda's affair. If she had caught him cheating, she said, she would have been the first to tell the media.

Sunita shared, “Problem yeh ki iski family main log hai jo mujhe aur Govinda ko saath nahi dekhna chahte. Vo sochte hain inki family itni khush kyun hai kyunki unke khudh ke biwi bacche marr gaye hain (The problem is that there are people in his family who don’t want to see Govinda and me together. They wonder why our family is so happy, especially since their own wives and children have passed away).”
