Sonam Kapoor shares glimpses of intimate Dhanteras celebration with husband Anand Ahuja, son Vayu; stuns in traditional couture ensemble

Actress Sonam Kapoor recently gave fans a warm glimpse into her Dhanteras celebrations with her family.

Her husband, businessman Anand Ahuja, and their 3-year-old son, Vayu, were featured in the special family moments captured in the pictures. Growing rumours that she might be expecting her second child accompanied her post.

Alongside the photos, Sonam wrote a heartfelt caption: “Our hearts (and home) are glowing a little brighter this Diwali. From our little family to yours — wishing you love, laughter & light. Anand, Sonam & Vayu.”

A brief video montage featuring pictures from her Dhanteras puja was also shared by the actress. The images depicted Sonam and Anand carrying out the rites together in a lavishly furnished environment. With its traditional Diwali décor, flowers, and diyas, their house exuded a festive warmth.

Sonam looked stunning in an Aseem Kapoor-designed boho-chic ensemble. Her outfit consisted of a structured maroon blouse that gave off an air of royalty and a gorgeous red skirt with elaborate hand embroidery of geometric and paisley designs.

She accessorised the ensemble with a stack of bangles, statement earrings, and chunky silver jewellery. She looked elegant and timeless with her hair tied in a low bun and neatly parted.\

While Sonam kept Vayu’s face mostly hidden for privacy, she did include a few endearing moments — including one where her little boy sweetly fed her a besan laddoo. The montage also featured glimpses of the traditional Laxmi Puja that is performed on Dhanteras.

According to reports, soon after the celebration, Sonam, Anand, and Vayu travelled out of Mumbai. Sonam, who married Anand Ahuja in 2018, welcomed her son Vayu in 2022. The family’s festive post quickly melted hearts online, capturing the warmth and spirit of Diwali.
