Sham Kaushal overjoyed as son Vicky Kaushal welcomes 'junior Kaushal': “So happy on becoming Dada”

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif welcomed a baby boy

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have recently embraced parenthood after they welcomed their first child, a baby boy. Fans, friends, and members of the film community have been sending sincere well-wishes after they announced their son’s birthday.

Veteran action director Sham Kaushal, Vicky's father, also expressed his gratitude on social media, referring to the newborn as "a blessing from God."

Vicky Kausha’s father took to his Instagram and wrote, “Shukariya Rab Da…Kal se Bhagwan ka mere parivar pe etna meherban rehne ke liye jitna bhi shukar kar raha hun, unki blessings ke samne kam pad raha hai (Thank you God…since yesterday no matter how much I am thanking God for being so kind to my family, it is falling short in comparison to His blessings).”

He concluded his post with, “So So happy on becoming Dada. May God bless all. Rab Rakha."

Vicky Kaushal’s brother and actor, Sunny Kaushal, couldn’t contain his excitement as he shared the happy news on social media, writing, “Main chacha ban gaya."

This comes after the hospital where the couple's child was born has now released an update about the newborn's and mother Katrina's health.

According to IANS, the doctor’s statement reads, “Actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were blessed with a baby boy at HN Reliance Hospital this morning. Both Katrina and the baby are fine.”

It added, “Male baby born at 08:23:18; mother and baby are stable. Discharge not yet planned.”

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2021, surrounded by just 120 close friends and family, including celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, and Kabir Khan. The couple had kept their relationship private before tying the knot, but they sparked the dating rumours for the first time in 2019.
