Ahead of the highly anticipated trailer launch of Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, the makers have been keeping the excitement alive by unveiling striking first looks of the film’s main characters.
After creating a buzz with Arjun Rampal’s intense avatar, they have now revealed R Madhavan’s first look poster, and fans are completely in awe of his transformation.
On Sunday, the makers of Dhurandhar shared Madhavan’s poster across social media platforms, and it instantly went viral. The poster shows him dressed in a sharp grey suit, sporting frameless glasses and a serious, composed expression.
With this sophisticated yet commanding look, Madhavan appears almost unrecognizable, adding to the mystery surrounding his role. The makers captioned the poster with the intriguing line, “The Charioteer of Karma. 3 Days To Go! #DhurandharTrailer out on 12th November at 12:12 PM. In Cinemas 5th December.”
Soon after the poster dropped, Ranveer Singh, who plays the lead in the film, reacted enthusiastically on Instagram. Praising Madhavan’s powerful presence, he wrote, “Maddy Supremacy!”
His comment quickly grabbed attention, with fans echoing his excitement. The comments section was flooded with appreciation for Madhavan’s look, with many calling it “iconic” and “next level.”
Some even speculated about his character’s inspiration, drawing comparisons to National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. One user wrote, “Indian superhero and Pakistan’s father Ajit Doval sir,” while another commented, “Maddy in and as NSA Doval Sahab!”
A day earlier, the makers had unveiled Arjun Rampal’s first look from the movie, and it too received widespread attention. Ranveer shared Rampal’s look on his Instagram, calling the character the “Angel of Death.”

The poster showed Rampal in a fierce avatar — sporting short hair, a thick beard, dark glasses, and a cigar — exuding danger and authority. His intense expression and rugged look added to the gritty tone that Dhurandhar seems to promise.
With the film’s promotional campaign in full swing, fans are eagerly waiting for the trailer, which is scheduled to release on November 12, 2025, at 12:12 PM. The movie itself is set to hit theatres on December 5, 2025.
