Palash Muchhal made his first public appearance after his wedding with Indian women’s cricketer Smriti Mandhana was postponed. The singer was seen at the airport with his parents.

In the video, Palash appears calm and composed, walking alongside his mom and dad, giving little away despite the intense scrutiny that has surrounded him in recent days.

The timing of the footage only adds fuel to speculation about the couple’s relationship, which has been the subject of endless chatter online.

Ever since the wedding was postponed, there were reports that Palash had cheated on Smriti with a choreographer. Later many chats were also leaked allegedly between Palash and the said choreographer.

The wedding choreographer also revealed her side of the story and denied all the allegations.

Palash has remained quiet in all this and it was his cousin who also made a statement defending her brother.

Smriti and Palash change bios

Fans recently noticed a subtle change on social media: both Palash and Smriti quietly added the nazar (evil eye) emoji to their Instagram bios. Many interpreted it as a way of warding off negativity and unwanted attention—a small but telling gesture amidst the uncertainty.

What was meant to be a joyful and celebratory chapter in their lives has instead turned into one of the most emotionally charged off-field stories of the year.

The wedding, originally planned for November 23rd with excitement and fanfare, was abruptly postponed after Smriti’s father suffered a heart attack just hours before the event.

There were reports that Smriti had postponed the wedding indefinitely.

A day later there were reports of Palash hospitalised and his mother Amita Muchhal in an interview with Hindustan Times, acknowledged the emotional strain both families are experiencing.

“Smriti and Palash dono takleef mein hain,” she said gently, explaining how overwhelming the sudden health scare was for everyone.

She also shared a tender glimpse of her son’s excitement: “Palash dreamt of coming home with his bride. I had even planned a special welcome. Everything will be fine, shaadi bohot jaldi hogi.”

Despite all the speculation, neither Palash nor Smriti has made an official statement.
