Shahid Kapoor starrer O'Romeo will soon hit the theatres and has started steadily at the advance box office. The advance sales started on February 10. The movie, which stars Triptii Dimri and Shahid Kapoor, is slated for release on February 13.
According to figures from industry tracker Sacnilk, the Vishal Bhardwaj film made Rs 38.96 lakh gross on the first day of advance sales, with 16,846 seats sold nationwide. The total amount of advance bookings for the movie, including block tickets, is Rs 1.44 crore.
The film is expected to debut between Rs. 4 crore and Rs. 7 crore, with a rough estimate of Rs. 5.50 crore, depending on audience reaction and current trends.
Inspired by real-life incidents, O'Romeo is supported by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. In addition to Vishal Bhardwaj's characteristic poetic storytelling, the picture promises an emotionally packed drama based on unrequited love.
Avinash Tiwary, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Disha Patani, and Tamannaah Bhatia are also among the ensemble cast members who will play supporting roles.
Vikrant Massey joins the film's stellar cast with a special cameo as well.
