Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit recently visited celebrity chef Vikas Khanna's famed restaurant Bungalow in Manhattan, New York, with her husband, renowned cardiac surgeon Dr. Shriram Nene.

Their evening was nothing short of delightful, it was filled with laughter, good food, and heartfelt moments, all of which Dr Nene captured in a video which he later shared on Instagram.

Vikas Khanna is shown in the video personally serving Madhuri, Dr. Nene, and their family, making sure that every aspect of their meal was flawless. The warm hospitality continued as he introduced his staff to the couple.

Ever polite and endearing, Madhuri had fun with a teammate and even danced for a little while to a background song.

The moment Madhuri received a cappuccino with a unique touch, her mother's photo creatively re-created in the frothy design on top and it was one of the sweetest highlights.

She added to the warmth of the evening by grinning as she appreciated the cup.

Set to the song Chak De! India, the video also featured a variety of delectable foods, including fragrant rice, colourful curries, crispy golgappas, and expertly made cocktails.

Many of the dishes were prepared by Vikas Khanna himself, demonstrating the love and attention to detail that characterise his cooking.

Sharing his experience, Dr Nene wrote,

“It was our pleasure to visit with @vikaskhannagroup Bungalow in Manhattan. It has grown so much since we visited with a Michelin star and NYTimes 3 star rating. Grateful to get a table as the waitlist is 4-8 mos. The food was divine. And chef takes such pains to ensure every guest is well served personally. Vikas is more than a friend and as a family member and brother, we have shared many meals together. But what resonates is the love he pours into his creations and his humility with which he delivers it. Bravo chef and thank you for a delightful evening.”

Touched by the heartfelt message, Vikas Khanna replied, “Thank you so much, my brother,” adding heart emojis to express his affection.
