In an earlier interview with Bombay Times, Kartik spoke warmly about their connection, saying, “I have to say, having a sister is a blessing and it’s sonay pe suhaga if she becomes your best friend. On the professional front, Kartik is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, directed by Sameer Vidwans. The film, backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, had its teaser unveiled in November. The romantic comedy-drama stars Ananya Panday as the female lead and hints at the story of a mama’s boy who meets a modern woman unwilling to settle for hook-up culture, instead yearning for a classic 90s-style romance. The film is slated for a December 25 theatrical release.
