‘Farah Khan is my sugar mummy, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are my godfathers,’ says Rakhi Sawant

Speaking to Hindi Rush, Rakhi revealed that Farah has been helping her rebuild her home after it fell into disrepair.

Rakhi Sawant is making headlines again, not for her drama, but for a heartwarming reason. Currently promoting her latest song Zaroorat, she recently opened up about her close bond with filmmaker Farah Khan, whom she affectionately calls her “sugar mummy.”

Speaking to Hindi Rush, Rakhi revealed that Farah has been helping her rebuild her home after it fell into disrepair. “Farah Khan is my sugar mummy, godmother and Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan are my godfathers. I have no one, main laawaris hun. Farah ma’am gave me so many gifts, including a TV, a washing machine, utensils, a pressure cooker, on Diwali. Mereko mera ghar banwake de rahi hai (She is helping me make my house),” she said emotionally.

Rakhi shared that her house was completely ruined after years of neglect. “3.5 saal ke baad main jab ghar aayi, toh mera ghar pura kabada hogaya, rehne layak hi nahi. Baarish main pura khatam hogaya. Toh Farah ma’am flooring lagwake de rahe hai aur pura ghar banwake de rahe hai. Meharbani hai unki,” she said, adding that Farah has been overseeing the entire renovation, including new flooring and furniture.

The Main Hoon Na actor also praised Salman Khan, and called him the “gareebon ka massiah (messiah of the poor).” She recalled how the superstar stood by her during her toughest times and helped her secure work in Bigg Boss, funded her mother’s cancer treatment, and even spent crores to support her.

Rakhi recently visited Farah’s lavish Mumbai apartment for her cooking vlog and was stunned to see its grandeur. “Farah lives in a seven-bedroom apartment with a private lift and pool,” she revealed on camera, joking that her Dubai house is “worth Rs 50 crore, more than Farah’s.” Farah playfully responded that her home is actually “worth much more” and revealed that she owns three floors in the building.

Farah and Rakhi’s bond goes way back. They worked together in Main Hoon Na, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Rakhi has since appeared in multiple seasons of Bigg Boss, and both made controversy and earned admiration along the way.
