As of now, Salman Khan continues to maintain a dignified silence, focusing on his upcoming project Battle of Galwan.

Rakhi Sawant has publicly defended Salman Khan, and launched a blistering attack on filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, who has recently levelled accusations against the Khan family. Speaking to Hindi Rush, Rakhi, who says she counts Salman among her staunch supporters, accused Abhinav Kashyap of lying and bad behaviour on film sets.

“Bhai, dharti pe devta hai wo (Salman Khan). Mere liye bahut kiya hai, kaam dilwaya hai. Main market mein down ho gai thi, kaam dilwaya, Bigg Boss mein liya, meri maa ka cancer treatment mein help ki,” Rakhi said, outlining how Salman had helped her during difficult times. The Bigg Boss alum made it clear she regards Khan as a protector and provider.

Turning her ire on Abhinav Kashyap, Rakhi minced no words. “Ek kaankhajura hai ... Woh takla [referring to Abhinav Kashyap] Salman ke khilaf bahut bol raha hai aajkal. Tu jidhar bhi mila takle, tujhe chappal se maaroongi. Koi to Dabangg film mein director liya tha usko. Pata nahi kaun hai wo, hum to naam nahi lenge. Meri juban kharab nahi karoongi us takle ka naam lekar,” she said.

Rakhi further alleged misconduct on sets and branded Abhinav Kashyap a womaniser. “Ladkibazi start kar di thi usne (he was a womaniser, flirting with every woman),” she claimed. She added that Abhinav had been thrown out for wasting Salman’s money. She also accused him of body-shaming Salman and making vile claims about the actor’s family. “Abhi media mein aakar ganda-ganda bol raha hai, unke parivaar ke baare mein.. Jhooth bolta hai,” she said.

Rakhi threatened retaliation if she met Abhinav Kashyap in person, “10 ande marungi (Will throw 10 eggs at him)” She urged media and the public not to take people like him seriously.

Previously, Ektaa Kapoor showed support to Salman Khan amid this controversy. Bollywood paparazzo Varinder Chawla strongly condemned Abhinav’s remarks, calling them “completely disgusting.” In a post that went viral, Varinder Chawla questioned the timing of the filmmaker’s outburst, noting that Dabangg released over 14 years ago. “If there were genuine issues, why wait so long to speak up? This kind of behaviour feels opportunistic and completely unfair, using someone else’s reputation for personal gain.” he wrote.

Adding to this, Ektaa Kapoor shared Varinder Chawla’s post on Instagram Stories.
