After persistent speculation about the status of her marriage to T Series Head and producer Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar has finally broken her silence. During a recent Reddit “Ask Me Anything” session, the actor‑director addressed the swirling divorce rumours head‑on.
When directly asked whether she and Bhushan had separated, she replied, “No, but the media really wants it,” strongly implying that there was no truth to the gossip.
Beyond clearing up the speculation, Divya also pulled back the curtain on her experiences in Bollywood. She described the industry as a place “filled with crocodiles,” alluding to its harshness and cut‑throat nature yet insisted she would never compromise her integrity for work.
According to her, while opportunities are plentiful, she would rather walk away than “sell her soul” — a sentiment she said guides her career decisions.
She added that staying grounded matters most to her: "I think the most important thing is to remain true to your own self. I will never sell my soul to get work. Hota hai toh theek hai nahi hota toh bhi theek hai, and what's more important is when you reach up you should have a good slate of karma to carry with you."
In the same session, Divya addressed past controversies, including the cosmetic‑surgery rumours. Divya replied, "Nai baba, no surgery." She also mentioned dropping Kumar from her surname on social media, clarifying that none were connected to marital discord. She reiterated that her name change had been driven by personal or astrological reasons, not relationship problems.

But the production was so well organised that it set a benchmark for me to compare Savi set experience with all my other movies," she wrote
