At the official trailer launch of the highly anticipated film Dhurandhar, director Aditya Dhar gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at just how much went into assembling the movie’s powerhouse cast.

He revealed that finding the perfect actor for Sara Arjun’s role was no small feat—it involved an audition process on an unprecedented scale.

“Mukesh had done almost 1300 auditions, and Sara Arjun was the one who got selected; she was just brilliant, the best of all,” Dhar said. Fans, already impressed by her fresh and natural presence in the trailer, were delighted to hear just how selective the casting process had been.

Aditya was also quick to credit the film’s casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, whose tireless work shaped the entire ensemble.

“Whatever casting you are seeing in this film is because of Mukesh Chhabra,” he said, adding, “he put all his efforts in this; without him, 'Dhurandhar' wouldn’t be possible.”
