Rumours about Varun Dhawan walking out of No Entry 2 have been swirling across the internet, sparking confusion among fans who were eagerly awaiting the sequel to the cult 2005 comedy. Reports suggested that Varun Dhawan had backed out of the project due to scheduling conflicts with Bhediya 2, leaving many to wonder if the much-hyped comic caper was falling apart before it even began.
Producer Boney Kapoor has now set the record straight. In an exclusive statement to Moneycontrol, Boney Kapoor dismissed all speculations, confirming that Varun Dhawan remains firmly attached to the film.
“We are making No Entry Mein Entry, and Varun and Arjun are very much in the film. We are in active discussions to lock our other hero and the rest of the cast,” he said.
This clarification comes after a Mid-Day report claimed that Varun had opted out, citing date issues with Bhediya 2. The publication quoted a source saying, “Now Varun’s dates are locked for Bhediya 2. We’re figuring out the new combinations. Arjun Kapoor is still very much on board.” Boney Kapoor’s confirmation now effectively quashes those rumours, reaffirming that both Varun and Arjun remain key players in the upcoming film.

Initially, No Entry 2 was planned with Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh leading the ensemble. However, Diljit had to exit due to scheduling conflicts. The team is now working on finalizing the third lead and other supporting cast members before heading into production.
The original No Entry, directed by Anees Bazmee and released on August 26, 2005, remains one of Bollywood’s most-loved comedies. Featuring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, and Celina Jaitly, the film was a box-office hit that set a new benchmark for ensemble comedy in Hindi cinema.
