Renowned Bollywood filmmaker Subhash Ghai has recently sold two apartments in Mumbai for a total of Rs. 11.61 crore. The apartments are located in the Splender Complex Co-op Housing Society Ltd., Jogeshwari, a popular locality in the western suburbs of Mumbai.
The sale was registered under his company, Mukta Tele Arts Private Limited, and the transactions were officially recorded in March 2025.

Jogeshwari is a well-connected area, offering easy access to key parts of the city, including commercial hubs and entertainment centers.
The area is linked by major roads like the Western Express Highway and the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR), and it has several nearby railway stations, making it an attractive place to live.
Both apartments sold by Subhash Ghai were located in the same complex and on the same floor.
Each apartment had a carpet area of 889 square feet (approximately 82.59 square meters) and a built-up area of 99.14 square meters (around 1,067 square feet).
The sale price for each apartment was Rs. 5.80 crore, which means that the total value of both properties sold was Rs. 11.61 crore. For each transaction, a stamp duty of Rs. 34.83 lakh was paid, along with a registration fee of Rs. 30,000.
Subhash Ghai, who is often referred to as the "Showman of Bollywood," is a highly respected filmmaker known for creating iconic films such as Karma, Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, Taal, and Pardes.
His work has earned him multiple prestigious awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Director for his film Saudagar. In recognition of his significant contributions to the Indian film industry, Ghai has also been honored with India's National Film Award.
