K-pop group BLACKPINK is reportedly gearing up for their new mini-album, set to release this November, creating a buzz among the fans.
According to a report by Korean media, BLACKPINK had completed the album jacket shoots on August 11 and intended to record and complete the project over the course of the remaining year.
According to K-media, YG Entertainment said in a statement, “We will announce details through official promotions at a later date.” The rep neither confirms nor denies the BLACKPINK comeback reports.
The reports about their new album have been swirling around following BLACKPINK's successful musical comeback this summer.
Their first group single, Born Pink, was released in September 2022, followed by Jump on July 11. The song is a bold departure from their usual sound, fusing techno, synth-pop, EDM, and hard style. The song, which Diplo co-wrote and co-produced with international producers Teddy and Zecca, was first heard live in Goyang, South Korea, on the first night of their Deadline World Tour.

BLACKPINK also celebrated their ninth anniversary in August 2025. Over the past year, each member has produced a solid solo project during their group break: 'Rosie' by Rose was released in December 2024, 'Amortage' by Jisoo in February 2025, Lisa's debut album 'Alter Ego' soon after, and 'Ruby' by Jennie.
BLACKPINK is currently performing 31 shows in 16 cities as part of their Deadline World Tour. Highlights of the tour include their August 15 and 16 performances at Wembley Stadium as the first K-pop girl group. The tour includes performances at Tokyo Dome, Stade de France, and SoFi Stadium in North America, Europe, and Asia.
