Bigg Boss 19’s Amaal Malik: ‘I have taken the path of righteousness and have been misunderstood’ – Exclusive

Singer and musician Amaal Malik entered Bigg Boss 19 as the 16th contestant today and fans cannot hold their excitement.

Amaal Malik, who has marked his entry in the controversial reality show, is a music composer, singer, producer and lyricist. From a musical family, he debuted with Jai Ho (2014). He gained fame through MS Dhoni and Kabir Singh. He is Armaan Malik’s elder brother.

In an exclusive conversation with Moneycontrol, Amaal spilled beans on his excitement to be a part of the reality show.

Amaal shared, “It has been around 10 years in this industry and I have taken the path of righteousness and I think somewhere down the line, I have been misunderstood. I am not affected by loss of work. When I get rejected from films, I take a break. I take it positively. But there is one thing that the people who have loved my work should know my face too. The audience knows my music and my heart but they do not know my habits and my vibe.”

He further added, “I became successful in 23 years so maybe that is why I did not have the subtlety. Diplomacy is out of the question. But I will put my views in a subtle and non-aggressive way.”

Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 19 is one of the most anticipated reality shows of the year. This season promises fans a never-ending supply of drama and excitement. According to reports, the candidates may be divided into two groups: the ruling party and the opposition party. Bigg Boss 19 will debut on Colors on August 24, 2025. The contentious show will be telecast on JioHotstar at 9 p.m., and Colors TV will follow at 10:30 p.m.
