It has been 14 years since the premiere of Ektaa R Kapoor's classic television program Bade Achhe Lagte Hain on May 30, 2011. Originally starring Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, the cherished series struck a deep chord with viewers and became an enormous success, opening the door for multiple seasons over the years.
Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda will play the main roles in the eagerly awaited fourth season, carrying on the tradition. Sony Entertainment Television will debut the new season on June 16; SonyLIV will stream the episodes as well.
Ektaa R Kapoor celebrated the lasting influence of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain with an emotional video on Instagram just one day after marking the show's 14-year journey. She offered fans a preview of the next season and reflected on the legacy of the show in the post, creating excitement for what lies ahead.
In her message, Ektaa said, “This is the perfect time to celebrate a show that brought something fresh to Indian television. With this new season, I aim to once again highlight the challenges women face as they grow older, emotionally, socially, and physically, especially when they fall short of societal expectations, yet strive to stay true to themselves.”
She added, “Through Bade, I want to emphasize the importance of women supporting each other through various stages of life, lifting each other up and adjusting each other's crowns along the way. That’s the essence I hope to capture in this season. Happy Bade to all of you!”
