Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. The shooting of the film is in full swing. However, photos from the set are going viral on the internet, creating a buzz among the fans.
The leaked Marvel photos provided a first look at Ian McKellen's Magneto and James Marsden's Cyclops. Both actors are all set to reprise their roles from the X-Men movie.

For the unversed, the movie recently started filming after Marvel announced that the original X-Men cast would be joining the project. The studio revealed 27 cast members, including popular actors like Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.
Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, and Kelsey Grammer as Beast will also join the Avengers case. Studio head Kevin Feige also teased that fans could expect more cast announcements in the future.

In the upcoming instalment, the Avengers will join forces with the X-Men, Wakanda, and the Fantastic Four to battle against Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., and his army of alternate universe Avengers.
This film is a key part of Marvel's Phase 6, which starts with The Fantastic Four: First Steps in July. Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026.
