Hollywood singer and actor Ariana Grande has recently returned to the big screen with her highly anticipated, Wicked. She captivated her fans with her stellar performance as Glinda, with a sequel to be released later this year. Soon after Wicked, she announced her directorial debut and bagged another role in a big project.
Ariana seems to have put her singing career on a brief hiatus to focus on acting, and fans have been disappointed with her decision. Fans have been long awaiting her new album, with several speculating that she has quit her music career.
However, Ariana has recently took to her Instagram and slammed the speculations about her music career. She shared a video of herself singing on the stage in the attire of Glinda, hinting that she could proudly do both roles.
Alongside the video, she slammed the critics in the caption and penned, “very silly of you all to assume that just because i have my hands full with many things that i plan to abandon singing & music… !!!”
Ariana elaborated, “it is and has always been my lifeline. there will need to be room made for all of it. it may not look exactly like it did before but i much prefer how it looks in my head. i am having fun. i feel grateful and excited and inspired. :) finding a balance, between many projects and endeavors i love, and doing it my own way…”
The singer concluded her post by teasing a new music set for 2026 release and wrote, “so i’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year. even if it’s just for a little. i love you.”
