Actor turned politician Kirron Kher is celebrating her 73rd birthday, and her actor husband Anupam Kher made sure to make her special day more special with a sweet birthday tribute.
The veteran actor took to his Instagram and shared a series of throwback photos of Kirron. Alongside the photos, he wished Kirron a ‘happy birthday’ and called her ‘an original piece of life.’
Anupam Kher wrote in his caption, “Happy Birthday dearest #Kirron! Every year finding new pics to post on your birthday is a difficult task. But then I almost post the same pics every year. Because they are the best representatives of who you are.”
In the carousel of throwback photos, he shared a pic of Kirron playing Badminton, a family portrait, a black and white photo of the couple and more.
For the unversed, Kirron and Anupam Kher have been married for over three decades. The couple had known each other since their university days in Chandigarh, but reconnected while pursuing film roles in Mumbai.
They sparked romance in the 1980s during their struggling actor days. However, they tied the knot in 1985. Although Anupam Kher does not have any biological children with Kirron Kher, he loves his stepson, Sikandar Kher, as his own. Kirron shares a son from her previous marriage with Gautam Berry.
