Ankit Gupta sheds light on the real reason behind signing Bigg Boss 16; says, 'I was sent there...'

Well, recently Farah Khan made a vlog on her YouTube channel where she visited Ankit Gupta's house.

Ankit Gupta is a talented name in the world of acting. Right from his debut show Udaariyaan, he made his way into the hearts of the masses.

Soon after, he entered Bigg Boss 16 where he garnered all the more love and affection from the audience. His friendship with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was one of the sweetest ones and fans showered a lot of love on them.

Well, recently Farah Khan made a vlog on her YouTube channel where she visited Ankit Gupta's house. Ankit welcomed her with open arms and they even made chicken kadai together. In the video, Farah can be seen asking Ankit as to why did he choose to take up Bigg Boss 16.

Ankit said, "I did not opt for it, but was more like I was sent there. It so happened that I had a meeting with Sargun Mehta who told me that they are wrapping the shoot for Udaariyaan. They had another offer for me which was Junooniyat. But that was supposed to happen after a span of three to four months. Keeping that in mind they gave me three options."

Ankit continued, "The options were Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss. Khatron Ke Khiladi has already started so that was out of the question. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa was something I could not do as I am not into dancing, however in a span of six months I will be. So the only option was Bigg Boss 16 which I took up."

While the food was ready, there was another surprise visitor joining them and it was Sajid Khan, who was Ankit's co-contestant in the same season of Bigg Boss. They had a hearty conversation.
