Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has bought another property in Ayodhya, according to a report in the Hindustan Times.
There are reports that Amitabh Bachchan has bought a 25,000-square-foot plot in Ayodhya which is said to have cost him a whopping Rs 40 crore.
The report further said that the land is close to a high-end real estate development named 'Saryu', where the Kalki actor had invested earlier.
Big B had also made a Rs 20 crore investment (Rs 10 crore each) in a real estate firm owned by producer Lalit Pandit.
Amitabh Bachchan's investment in Ayodhya is his fourth property purchase there. Prior to the Ram Mandir, he purchased a 5,372 square foot site for Rs 4.54 crore.
Besides that, Big B put 14.5 crore in the Saryu project, purchasing a block of 54,000 square feet.
According to speculations, Amitabh Bachchan plans to create a memorial in remembrance of his father Harivansh Rai
Amitabh Bachchan had invested alongside his son Abhishek.
Amitabh Bachchan is a big real estate investor and had previously purchased 10 properties with his son Abhishek Bachchan for a reported Rs 25 crores.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan was most recently seen in Vettaiyan. Apart from that, he was seen in Kalki, 2898 AD. Now he will appear in Ramayana: Part 1. In this, he will portray Jatayu.
