Amitabh Bachchan is set to return in KBC 17

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has officially started the shooting of the iconic quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17. He has recently shared an update on the show.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account and tweeted in Hindi, “T 5463- pahunch gaye kaam pe; naya din, naya avasar, nayee chunautiyaan, pranaam (Arrived at work; new day, new opportunity, new challenges, greetings).”

Previously, Amitabh Bachchan confirmed his return to the iconic game show with a series of photos from the set of the reality game show. The veteran actor has kicked off the production of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17.

Kaun Banega Crorepati will premiere on August 11.

Amitabh Bachchan has been the face of the show since its inception in 2000. The latest update came after it was reported that the veteran actor has decided to step down from KBC after hosting the show for around two decades. It was reported at the time that Salman Khan would take on the hosting gig following the veteran actor’s exit due to personal reasons.

On the film front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Rajinikanth’s film Vettaiyan, which also starred Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and Ritika Singh in the key roles. The veteran actor will next be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84, alongside Diana Penty and Nimrat Kaur.
