BTS' V, also known as Kim Taehyung, caught the attention of fans online when his hairstylist, Mujin Choi, shared a signed postcard from the idol on Instagram. The talented singer-songwriter sent Mujin a signed copy of his TYPE 1 photobook, along with a touching message on a photo postcard, expressing his gratitude and affection towards his hairstylist.
Mujin Choi, who has been styling BTS since 2019, shared on his Instagram story that V had gifted him a signed postcard. The singer included a heartfelt message on one of the photo postcards from the TYPE 1 photobook. In the message, V requested Mujin to "always leave an empty slot" in his schedule for him.
The message, translated by fans, read: “To Mujin Hyung, Please clear your schedule and call me/Please always leave an empty slot in your schedule for me so I’m able to contact you/keep in touch.” Mujin responded to V’s request with a playful “Yes Sir Captain THV.”
Mujin Choi has gained significant popularity for his work with BTS, particularly for creating V's iconic blue hairstyle for a January photoshoot with Harper's Bazaar Korea. Mujin mentioned that V specifically requested a hair colour that resonated with the aesthetic of his favourite Western films, such as Call Me By Your Name.
