Allu Arjun's father-producer Allu Aravind praises son for the super success of Pushpa 2: The Rule: 'It is so exciting...'

In a recent interview, the producer shared insights into why Pushpa 2 has resonated so strongly with audiences across the country, contributing to its monumental success.

Allu Arjun is basking in the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has grossed over Rs 1800 crore globally. Proud father Allu Aravind expressed his joy over his son's remarkable achievement, noting how Allu Arjun is carrying forward the family legacy into the third generation.

In a recent interview, the producer shared insights into why Pushpa 2 has resonated so strongly with audiences across the country, contributing to its monumental success.
In an interview with Galatta Plus, Allu Aravind expressed his excitement about his son’s success, stating that while Allu Arjun becoming a hero was one accomplishment, it was even more thrilling to see him break all records and emerge as part of the biggest film in India.

He further said, "Truly blessed by all the biggies of the industry. My son is here. Whenever you want to tell something of the land, of the particular place honestly, that emotion will be caught by all India. If you think in reverse, how to make an all-India film and start thinking from there you will not land anywhere, is what I feel."

Allu Aravind also credited Sukumar, the director of Pushpa 2, for much of the film's success. He mentioned that Sukumar and Allu Arjun, being best friends, had long discussions that led to the creation of Pushpa 1, and it was from that point that the journey began. "They wanted him in a rugged character representing every downtrodden people in India. That is how they started building this character. So it got instantly connected all over India, particularly with the people of the masses," he added.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. Allu Arjun reprises his role as Pushpa Raj, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. It is now streaming on Netflix and is trending at no. 1 on tehe streaming giant worldwide.
