Alia Bhatt talks about Ranbir Kapoor behaviour after Raha

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who welcomed their daughter Raha Kapoor in 2022, have become the picture of loving and devoted parents. Their relationship with Raha has been a source of admiration for many.

During an interview the Dear Zindagi actress revealed some heartwarming insights into Ranbir’s affection for Raha, describing how he has always longed to be a “girl dad.”

While taking to Jay Shetty on his podcast, Alia mentioned, "He’s amazing. He’s very creative when it comes to entertaining her. She entertains him as well, like they both have a very special friendship, I would say," she explained. According to Alia, the bond they share is quite unique—it’s as if they are two friends, sometimes appearing like adults, and other times like toddlers, depending on the moment. This unique dynamic makes their relationship even more special.

Alia continued to express how she’s noticed a profound change in Ranbir since becoming a father. “When he looks at Raha, there’s like stars in his eyes. Of course, for any parent. But when I see it, because I’ve known Ranbir pre and I know him now, I see the difference. I see the difference in the way he is with people, you know, as a father. He’s just so sort of full. It’s not like he was ever edgy. He always had a very calm demeanor or anything, but there’s a fullness which I experienced firsthand and that I see on a daily basis, and it’s actually really sweet and special to watch their conversations,” Alia said, highlighting the transformation she’s witnessed in Ranbir since Raha’s arrival.

Alia also admitted to sneakily recording their precious moments together. “I’m just like sneakily, you know, videotaping a lot of their random moments, and they don’t even know I’m doing it. Eventually, I guess one of them looks at the camera and then I put it off, but it’s just the beginning. But the beginning is just so unique and special, at least from where I’m sitting and from what I’ve seen. Just to watch your partner also manifest love in that way is very interesting," she confessed.
