Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari Chapter 2 to make television premiere on Star Gold; details inside

Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari Chapter 2:The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is finally set to make its television premiere after a successful release at the theatres, followed by its OTT release.

Star Gold announced that the World TV Premiere of  Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh will be aired on September 13 at 8 PM.

Both real-life incidents and Raghu and Pushpa Palat's well-known book The Case That Shook the Empire served as inspiration for the movie. It vividly depicts a significant but little-known phase of the Indian independence movement.

The remarkable tale of C. Sankaran Nair, the valiant lawyer who challenged the British Crown in a landmark court case in an effort to obtain justice and the truth following the devastating Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919, is at its heart.

Directed by debutant Karan Singh Tyagi, who himself has been a lawyer by profession and produced by Dharma Productions, the film combines gripping drama with historical depth. Akshay Kumar leads the cast as C. Sankaran Nair, a man whose moral reckoning led him to challenge the might of the British Empire. He is joined by R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles that add intensity and emotional depth to this courtroom battle.
