Housefull 5 starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and a ensemble cast is set to release on June 6. The makers of the franchise's latest installment had dropped the teaser on April 30, creating much buzz. However, as per latest development, it has now been removed from YouTube.
Within ten days of the teaser's release on April 30, the movie's teaser received millions of views on Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment's YouTube channel. But the teaser was gone from the platform by the morning of May 9. The error message "The video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Mofusion Studios" appeared when users tried to view the video.
According to Hindustan Times, with less than a month remaining before the film's scheduled release, the teaser's sudden removal from YouTube has raised questions, and it appears a 'copyright claim' is behind the decision. Despite this, there has been no official statement from the film's team regarding the issue or the circumstances surrounding the removal.
For those unfamiliar, Mofusion is an India-based record label known for producing songs by popular artists such as Diljit Dosanjh and Jasmine Sandlas, among others.
The song Laal Pari from the film, sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Simar Kaur, has recently created a lot of buzz. It has already crossed 40 million views on YouTube, with the ensemble cast joining in the fun, grooving to the catchy tune.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 is a multi-starrer including Akshay, Abhishek, Jackie Shroff, Ritesh Deshmukh, JDino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, and Nana Patekar.
