Actor Akshay Kumar made a sincere plea to everyone who was considering seeing Kesari Chapter 2 at a special screening that took place in Mumbai on Thursday night. Speaking to the photographers who had gathered outside the venue, the actor advised viewers to watch the film's opening sequences, which he said were essential to its overall effect.
“With folded hands, I sincerely request everyone coming to watch this film not to miss its beginning,” Akshay said. “The first 10 minutes are among the most important parts of the film. It sets the tone and lays the foundation for what follows.” He emphasised that the film's opening sequence holds crucial significance and asked viewers to ensure they arrive on time.
He further added, “I am confident that this message will reach the audience through your cameras. For those who have already decided to watch the film, I urge them not to be late. Come on time and start the experience from the very beginning—it truly matters.”
Akshay Kumar takes on the role of legendary lawyer C. Sankaran Nair in Kesari Chapter 2, a film that sheds light on the lesser-known story of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and its aftermath. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Karan Johar, the film is set for theatrical release on Friday.
The special screening saw the presence of several well-known personalities from the film and fashion industries. Akshay’s wife, author Twinkle Khanna, was in attendance, along with actress Ananya Panday and her parents, Chunky and Bhavana Panday.
