Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who is gearing up for the release of his historical drama Kesari: Chapter 2, recently shared his insights into Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film, Raid 2. The actor has recently watched the trailer of Raid 2 and showered praise on it.

Akshay took to his Instagram Story and reshared the recently released trailer of Raid 2. Alongside the trailer, the actor wished all the best to his friend Ajay and hoped that his movie works well in theatres. He wrote in the caption, “Bhai, what a trailer!! I hope teri 75th Raid does 75 weeks in theatres. Good luck for #Raid2 @ajaydevgn.”

The actor jokingly added, “And the evilness suits you @Riteishd ;).” The actor shared the same content on his X account as well.

For the unversed, the trailer of the upcoming crime thriller featured a thrilling battle between Ajay Devgn as an honest IRS officer and a corrupt politician played by Riteish Deshmukh.

The trailer shows Ajay plotting a complex trap against Riteish’s character, referencing the Mahabharat's famous "chakravyuh" formation. Additionally, the trailer introduces Vaani Kapoor's character as Ajay Devgn's wife, adding a warm touch to the story. Meanwhile, Saurabh Shukla's presence injects more tension, heightening the suspense and thrill.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, the upcoming sequel will hit the theatres on May 1. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production.
