TV actor and Bigg Boss 19 personality Akanksha Chamola is grabbing attention again — this time for her candid remarks about filming intimate scenes in her upcoming ShemarooMe original series Dil Dhokha Aur Desire.
The series, which streams from February 12, 2026, has sparked buzz and social media chatter partly because of its bold themes and Chamola’s portrayal, prompting questions about how such sequences are filmed and how she approached them professionally.
In recent interviews promoting the show, Akanksha Chamola explained that intimate and close-up scenes are handled with a high degree of professionalism and planning on set. She stressed that today’s censorship laws are strict, and all such moments in Dil Dhokha Aur Desire were filmed well within legal guidelines and the actors’ comfort zones. According to her, these scenes are not spontaneous — instead, they are evaluated carefully with input from the entire creative team to ensure respectful and thoughtful execution.
When asked about Gaurav’s reaction to her intimate scenes, she said “Gaurav unfortunately iss project ke time par nahi the mere saath. He was already inside, (Bigg Boss 19) and ye project already start ho chuka tha.”
“Na signing ke time par the meri unse kuch discussion hai hui. She added, Then i told ki aisa-aisa hai and he was ok about it,” she concluded.
Addressing critics and social media trolls who have labelled aspects of her role or promotional behaviour as “bold,” Akansha reiterated that the industry’s approach to shooting such scenes has evolved. She noted that a lot of preparation, respect and mutual understanding goes into every intimate sequence — and that actors are shielded from unnecessary discomfort or pressure during production.
Dil Dhokha Aur Desire also features actors like Kunwar Amarjeet Singh and Ali Hasan, and explores themes of love, betrayal and desire in a contemporary setting. All episodes will stream on ShemarooMe from February 12.
