Aditya Roy Kapur is reportedly taking the lead in Raj & DK’s upcoming project Rakt Bramhand - The Bloody Kingdom, a highly anticipated action fantasy drama.

The Night Manager actor has been immersing himself in intensive preparation for the role, undergoing three months of rigorous training. His training regimen included sword fighting, weaponry, horse riding, archery, and various other physical disciplines, ensuring he’s ready for the demanding role.

The show, set to be a thrilling action-packed fantasy, will also feature talented actors such as Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Ali Fazal. It has generated significant buzz with its unique concept, combining fantasy elements with intense drama.

Speaking about the project, Raj & DK, the director duo behind the series, shared their excitement about collaborating with Aditya. They explained, "At the heart of Rakt Bramhand is a character that demands strength, intensity and a bit of wackiness, and Aditya brings all of that as the lead. And for his part, he’s been training very hard to meet the demands of the character. Our goal with this show is to create a world that is both original and evokes the fantastical tales we grew up hearing."

Having recently completed the first shooting schedule in Mumbai, the filmmakers are keen to bring their vision of a captivating, original world to life.
