Amid persistent rumours of marital discord, actor Abhishek Bachchan has finally broken his silence, offering a glimpse into his family life and expressing deep admiration for his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The actor, who was promoting his recently released film Kaalidhar Laapata, opened up about his personal life in an interview with Nayandeep Rakshit, addressing both the speculation and the real story behind his daughter Aaradhya’s upbringing.

In the heartfelt conversation, Abhishek didn’t hesitate to give full credit to Aishwarya for raising their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. “I have to give the credit of everything entirely to her mother. I have the liberty and I go out to make my movies but Aishwarya does the heavy lifting with Aaradhya. She is amazing. Selfless. I find it amazing,” he said.

Reflecting on the role of mothers, he added, “Just mothers in general, I don’t think fathers have the ability to be as giving, maybe we are wired differently... we are more about going out, we have to do something, we have to work, we are goal-oriented. And to be able to say, ‘No, this is my baby and this is my top priority for me,’ I think it’s amazing and it’s a gift. That’s why possibly our go-to people are mothers.”

Abhishek’s admiration didn’t stop with Aishwarya. He also praised Aaradhya for growing up to be a grounded and conscientious young girl in a world dominated by technology and social media. He proudly shared, “She is not on any social media, doesn’t have a phone also. I think she is brought up to be a very conscientious girl and I think that’s also a testimony to her individually. I don’t want to take away from her what she is personally. She is who she is and she is turning out to be a wonderful little lady. She is the pride and joy of the family.”

In a tender moment, Abhishek recalled the night Aaradhya was born. “She used to literally fit on my forearm. Aaradhya is taller than Aishwarya,” he laughed, his voice filled with both nostalgia and pride. He also emphasized how important it is to return home to a peaceful family environment, saying, “At the end of the day, it’s that happiness – coming home to a happy and healthy family. That is so important.”

Aside from his personal reflections, Abhishek also addressed the ongoing rumours of separation from Aishwarya. Speaking to ETimes, he voiced his frustration at the insensitivity of online gossip. “It is very convenient for people to sit behind computer screens and write nasty things without knowing that they might be hurting someone,” he stated. Without confirming or denying the rumours directly, his comments suggested a weariness with the speculative nature of public discourse.

Despite the noise, Abhishek Bachchan appears focused on what matters most: family, values, and authenticity.
