South superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up for his highly anticipated film, Coolie. The makers have just increased the excitement with the release of the teaser. However, the whole Coolie crew gathered to enjoy Bollywood’s perfectionist’s latest release Sitaare Zameen Par.
The social media handle of the Aamir Khan productions has recently shared photos of the Coolie cast watching Sitaare Zameen Par. The Instagram post was accompanied by the caption that reads, “You say movie night, and your gang pulls up.”
The photo featured Akkineni Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, lyricist Upendra Kumar, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, music director Anirudh Ravichander, as well as the actor and singer Sivakarthikeyan Doss. The photo featured a poster in the background with the text, “Cast of Coolie watching Sitaare Zameen Par on YouTube.”
Aamir Khan will also star in the upcoming action thriller. He will portray Dahaa. The recently released trailer of Coolie gives a glimpse of Rajinikanth’s character Deva, a former gold smuggler who sets out to regain his former glory.
The trailer takes a dramatic turn as Deva brings his old gang back for one final mission, armed with stolen technology hidden inside antique golden watches.
The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran. Coolie is slated to release in the theatres on August 14.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is a prequel to the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The film revolves around a basketball coach, played by Aamir, who serves community service by training Neurodivergent adults after a DUI. His outlook changes as he learns from his players.
