Finally, the much awaited announcement has been made. Sun Pictures officially announced a new film featuring actor Allu Arjun and director Atlee.

The announcement was made through a 2-minute 34-second video released at 11 AM as a birthday gift to Allu Arjun's fans. Sun Pictures described the project as a "magnum opus where mass meets magic."

This collaboration brings together Pan India actors Allu Arjun and Atlee. Atlee recently got recognized for directing successful films like Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan. The upcoming movie is expected to be a significant production for Sun Pictures. It marks one of their most ambitious projects to date.

Reports suggest that the film will deal with the themes set in a parallel universe indicating a unique story. The announcement video was reportedly filmed in the USA portraying the project's international scope. Sun Pictures is assembling a team of top technicians for various aspects of the film including cinematography, production design, music and editing.

There were speculations about the project's budget and production details prior to this official announcement. Some reports indicated that Sun Pictures had concerns over the film's budget which was estimated to exceed Rs 600 crore. However recent announcement confirms that the project is moving forward under Sun Pictures' banner.

Meanwhile Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule is a 2024 The film is written and directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings.  The film stars Allu Arjun in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Rao Ramesh. The film has set several box office records by grossing over Rs 1,642 crore making it the highest grossing film in India.
