When will the National Film Awards be held?The 71st National Film Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on September 23, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi at 4 p.m.
Where to watch the National Film Awards?The National Film Awards will air live on the official DD News Channel on YouTube, starting at 3 p.m. Although the official ceremony will start at 4 pm, the winners will walk the red carpet an hour earlier before taking the stage to accept their awards.
Who are the National Film Awards 2023 winners?The awards were announced on August 1, with the ceremony honouring the names of the cinema across languages, genres, and crafts.
Shah Rukh Khan (Jawan) and Vikrant Massey (12th Fail) will split the Best Actor prize. Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji earned the Best Actress for her strong performance in Mrs Chatterjee vs. Norway.
Kathal – A Jackfruit Mystery won Best Hindi Film, and Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 12th Fail won Best Feature Film.
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal earned the highest honour in Indian cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Meanwhile, Sudipto Sen's The Kerala Story won both Best Cinematography and Best Director.
